This Cookie Policy explains how Institute of Academic Excellence, doing business as ICE Academy ('we', 'us' or 'our'), uses cookies and similar technologies, such as browser local storage, on https://iceacademy.in. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal information more generally.

WHAT ARE COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device through your browser, which the website can read back on a later visit. Local storage and session storage work similarly: they let a website save small pieces of information in your browser, either for a single visit or across visits, without sending that information back to the server automatically the way a cookie does. We and the third-party providers below use both kinds of technology.

CATEGORIES OF COOKIES WE USE

Strictly necessary

These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off without breaking a feature you are using.

  • Cloudflare Turnstile: runs on our enquiry, contact and enrolment forms to tell a genuine visitor apart from a bot, so we can protect the site from spam and abuse. See Cloudflare's cookie policy.
  • Razorpay Checkout: loads quietly in the background on every page (not only when you click Enrol), so that payment can open instantly when you do. It may set cookies or local storage, for example a device identifier, for fraud prevention and to process your payment. See Razorpay's privacy policy.
  • Purchase marker (set by us). After a successful payment we store a marker in your browser's local storage containing your Razorpay payment reference, so that one purchase is not counted twice in our analytics. It stays on your device until you clear site data.

Analytics

These help us understand how visitors use the website, so we can improve it.

  • Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager: measures page views and site usage in aggregate, and, when you complete an enrolment, records the purchase (course, price and payment reference) so we can measure conversions. See Google's cookie policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity: records how you use the site, including clicks, scrolls, mouse movement, session replays and heatmaps, using first- and third-party cookies, to help us see which parts of a page are useful. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Advertising and measurement

  • Google Ads, loaded through Google Tag Manager: measures the results of our advertising campaigns, including enrolment purchases (course, price and payment reference), and, where relevant, shows you remarketing ads on other sites. See how Google uses cookies in advertising.
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), loaded through Google Tag Manager: records the pages you view and some of the buttons you click on our site, and sets Meta's _fbp cookie, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads and show ads to people who have visited our site. If you type an email address on a page, Meta may also receive it in hashed (scrambled) form to match your visit to a Meta account, a feature Meta calls advanced matching. See Meta's cookie policy.

HOW TO CONTROL COOKIES

Most browsers let you see, delete and block cookies through their settings; check your browser's help pages for how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop a form, the checkout or the map from working properly. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically using Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, manage Google's use of advertising data through My Ad Center, and control the ads Meta shows you, including those based on your activity on other websites, in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account (see Meta's cookie policy for the options).

UPDATES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we start using a new tool on the website. The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
